There was once a point where I was an apathetic, suicidal, lost mess of a human being. Even after I had reached a much happier point in my life, I wanted to block out the memories of this dark period. I hadn't reached a state of acceptance yet, and felt vulnerable and weak when attempting to come to terms with it.

Eventually I realized there was no shame in feeling vulnerable. Many people suffer through the same things I dealt with on a day to day basis. Creating this album was an exploration of the feelings I had shut off for a long time, and a form of musical self-therapy. I hope with all my heart that some of you can connect to this music, and see the same light-of-happiness I finally reached. Remember, no matter how down you are, someone loves you, and someone does understand.

"This Reality is Thinly Established" means that, no matter where you are in live, your perception and feelings can and will eventually change. Our current self-realities are never permanent.

Thank you to the friends who saw me through some of the darkest parts of my life. Emily, Isaac, Kyle, Jen, Kurt, Rexie, Ben, you guys are the best friends I could ask for. I love you all.
